35 Weeks

August 6

1. I have been doing lots of tricks to try to get Sullivan to flip... Laying with my hips up on pillows, putting cold behind his head and warm where I want him to flip, swimming, doing handstands in the pool. 

2. I have been praying that God will put him exactly where he needs him to be to have a safe and healthy delivery and baby boy (and mommy)! If that means he is breech and I have a c-section, I am fine with that. I know God knows best so I am trusting that. 

3. This weekend, I had a great baby shower put on by my wonderful friend, Rilee, with all the girls from Sunday School. We had such a great time! I feel so blessed by these ladies and how supportive and loving they are! Love my "village" of mommies!!

4. Between all the moms in the picture, we have 26 kids, 3 pregnant, and 1 adopting! Wow!! We fake the "be fruitful and multiply" Scripture literally. Haha!

5. Blake was out of town this weekend, and my parents came over for the shower. It was a fun weekend getting some things done at the house and getting ready for Sullivan. 

6. I have not been sleeping well recently. I can't get comfortable, have to make several bathroom trips, and just feel restless.

7. My sweet friend Kaitlin watched Caroline one morning this week. It was so nice to be able to get some things done around the house and just have some time to myself. I know that will come few and far between having 2 babies. I am soaking up the last few weeks that I have with just Caroline. 

8. I have been craving some firehouse subs and got one on Sunday. If was so yummy! 

9. I have my next appointment on Monday. I will be checked for the first time to see if I'm dilated. I have lots of questions for my doctor about the possibility of a c-section, external version, etc. if Sullivan is still breech. (Hoping he decides to turn before then!!)

10. I am looking forward to my in-law's and Blake's sister Elizabeth coming and visiting this weekend! It will be the last time I see them before Sullivan is born!

34 Weeks

July 30

1. Time is FLYING by!! Only 6 weeks untIl my due date. Only one more full month of being pregnant... Yay!

2. I had my check up on Monday and everything was good... Strong heartbeat, good blood pressure, gained 1 lb (17 lb total). Some not so great news is that baby boy is BREECH! My doctor was not worried at all and said he has time to move and not to worry. Easier said than done, doc. Haha! I am trusting that God has me and Sullivan exactly where he wants us though. If he is breech and I need to have a c-section, I know that God will keep us safe and that he could be protecting us from something going wrong with a normal delivery. I am praying he flips, but I am much more concerned about having a safe and healthy delivery and baby!

3. I can't believe I haven't gained more weight these past 2 weeks! 

4. We had a great family brunch shower on Saturday! My brother, sister-in-law, and their kids came all the way from Atlanta! It was so sweet of them to make the long hard trip for us! We are so loved!

5. The shower was Auburn themed. My family sure knows how to decorate for a party!! The diaper cake and jersey plate (says "Born to yell War Eagle") are now in Sullivan's nursery. 

6. While I was in Mobile, I got to enjoy some yummy Chicken Salad Chick! I miss living so close to the one in Auburn. It is definitely one of my favorite places!

7. My hips have been sore this week when I wake up in the morning. I'm just starting to get to the big uncomfortable stage of pregnancy where nothing feels good. 

8. I am so excited about adding a boy to the cousins on the Shore side. James will be a year old at the end of October, so they will be a little under a year apart. 

9. Caroline kept saying "happy birthday to Caroline" when we were opening gifts at the shower. Hopefully I can get her to say "happy BIRTH day to Sullivan" in just a few weeks! :)

10. Mom and I got to work on some things for Sullivan's nursery this week. I will post pictures of the nursery when it gets all done!

33 Weeks

July 23

1. I have an appointment next Monday. It should just be a normal check up so hoping for an uneventful appointment. 

2. This past weekend, Caroline and I were at the beach with my parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin. We had a great time in the pool, watching Frozen, and doing lots of relaxing! I can't believe this will be my last time at the beach with only one kiddo! 

3. Sullivan has been kicking lots recently! He still has a favorite place at the top of my stomach that I always feel a big kick. 

4. I have been sleeping surprisingly well the past few weeks. I am sure that will change in the last few weeks of pregnancy so I am enjoying it while it lasts!

5. I don't have any stretch marks yet so hoping that will stay away! I also don't have the dark line on my stomach like I did with Caroline... So interesting how each pregnancy is different!

6. I have been craving a Subway sandwich and got one this week... Yummy! 

7. I have gained less weight with Sullivan so far. It makes me wonder if he will be any smaller than Caroline. 

8. I went shopping at the outlet mall and got some cute things at Baby Gap! Can't wait to dress my little man in them!

9. Sadly, my finger is having that weird reaction so my rings are off this week. Under my rings, it gets really red and bumpy. Then it gets dry, peels, and then feels better!

10. I can't believe we are only 7 weeks away from Sullivan's due date! We are having a shower in Mobile this weekend... Woo hoo! :)

32 Weeks

July 16

1. I had my appointment on Monday and everything went well! I am measuring right on track and have gained a total of 16lb (3 lb. the past 2 weeks).

2. My little man is getting more active!! He has a favorite place to kick me at the very top of my stomach. It almost feels sore because he kicks there so much! Haha!

3. We had a GREAT trip to Auburn this past weekend! We started it off with some BBQ House for breakfast. This is Blake's favorite place for breakfast and I know he can't wait to take Sullivan there and share it with him!

4. We also went to Samford Hall to take some pictures of the kiddos!

5. Saturday, we had a great time at Mammaw's wedding!! We are excited about adding "GrandBob" to our family! :)

6. I officially cannot see the bottom half of my belly under my belly button. Haha!

7. I also can't see my feet if I am standing up straight and looking down. I just noticed that this week when I was at the doctor's office standing on the scale and I had to lean way forward to see what it said. Haha!

8. We made a big purchase this week for baby Sullivan... a DOUBLE stroller!! Woo Hoo!!

9. I have been so blessed with lots of hand me downs from my sis-in-law Summer and from my friend Kaitlin. I unloaded the boxes they gave me this week, and I am so overwhelmed with how provided for Sullivan already is without me buying anything!! What a huge blessing!

10. We have a fun week ahead with some beach time and staying at Janny and Colonel's!! Can't wait!

31 Weeks

July 9

1. Thursday, Caroline and I went blueberry picking with Wade. Amy, and Tatum! It was HOT, but we had fun!! We picked 7 lb! I love this pic of the girls working hard... and Sullivan in the background! :)

2. Gigi and Pappy came into town Thursday night and brought Cameron with them. It is fun having Caro together with Tatum and Cam! Can't wait to add a boy cousin for Cameron soon! :)

3. For 4th of July, we went swimming in the morning with all the kiddos! I hope Sullivan loves the water as much as Caroline. She is such a little fishy with NO fear!

4. Saturday, we had a great birthday party for our big 2 year old!! I can't believe it has been that long since I was writing these blog posts about my pregnancy with Caroline.

5. I am feeling bigger by the day! Here is a little bit of a belly picture.

6. It was so fun to see lots of family this weekend. Now we are looking forward to traveling to Auburn for Mammaw's wedding this coming weekend. This will be our last trip to Auburn without Sullivan... can't wait to take him too!!

7. I have a check up next Monday so we will see how everything is going! I think I will definitely gain more weight this time with Caroline's party and going out of town.

8. I LOVE a Chinese place in Auburn called Panda's so I am hoping to get some this weekend!

9. I can't believe we are in the single digit countdown until Sully's arrival... 9 WEEKS!!! WOO HOO!

10. My other cravings have been lots of sweets and candy recently.

30 Weeks

July 2

1. Before I get to pregnancy and Sullivan updates... Happy 2nd birthday, Caroline!! :) We had a fun family night just celebrating our girl! We took her to chick fil a for some ice dream (yearly tradition now because we went last year too)! 

2. Caroline had the sweetest VBS teachers (Kaitlyn, Jacque, Paige, and Hannah) who gave her a birthday balloon and big bouncy ball! They are the best! Caroline has looooves Miss Kaitlyn since she was still in one of the baby nursery rooms. I pray Sullivan will have a special connection with a nursery worker like that. It makes it so nice to have someone to drop her off to that she loves!

3. We have been doing lots of party planning this week! Caroline's party is this Saturday and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

4. I am so thankful my mom lives close to us! She came over Tuesday and helped me get EVERYTHING ready for the party! We cleaned, decorated, crafted, and just had so much fun! Caroline and Sullivan are so lucky to have grandparents (on both sides) who love them and invest so much in their lives (even before Sullivan is born). 

5. Blake's brother, Wade, and his family just got here for the week to stay until Caroline's party! We are so excited to have family visiting and staying with us!

6. Sullivan's bumper and curtains came in!! I can't wait to get his nursery all ready for him!

7. My feet and back have been hurting if I don't wear supportive shoes all day. It is kind of annoying (and hot) to have to wear tennis shoes in 90 degree weather. 

8. I have been having some Braxton hicks, I can usually tell it is when I need to drink or empty my bladder. No early labor or anything!

9. I cannot figure out how Sullivan is positioned. Some days he kicks on one side, then the other side the next day. I guess he is still just flipping and flopping!

10. Whenever I ask Caroline what her baby brother's name is, she says "Sully!!" in a really excited voice. It is so sweet!

29 Weeks

June 25

1. This week has been busy busy with VBS! Caroline has been worn out! Can't wait to take 2 kids to VBS next year!

2. I cannot believe that our baby girl is going to be TWO tomorrow (June 26)!! I am excited (and a little nervous) about starting over with the baby stage again with Sullivan.

3. I have been craving some cinnamon rolls so I got some this week! Yummy!

4. Although I am sooo excited about having a boy and blue everything... I do love girly things! I gave Caroline pigtails for the first time this week! :)

5. Sullivan is definitely getting stronger (and bigger) every week! Feeling him move and kick around is probably my favorite part of all of pregnancy. It is such an indescribable feeling!

6. I am so thankful to be working with sweet 3rd graders this week in VBS. I have 2 kids in my group who have already made decisions to accept Jesus! What an amazing thing to be a part of! It has really made me pray more and more for Caroline and Sullivan to know Jesus at a young age.

7. I am thankful to be feeling well so far! My stomach was a little upset a few days, but I feel great overall!

8. It is interesting to me that my skin had been more dry this pregnancy. It was a lot more oily with Caroline. I wonder if it has anything to do with different gender hormones.

9. I go for another check up next Monday and will go every 2 weeks until I am 36 weeks. I cannot believe how fast it has been going this pregnancy!

10. We moved Caroline to her new big girl room this past weekend so now I can get Sullivan's nursery ready!! Pictures with come when it gets done!
