31 Weeks

July 9

1. Thursday, Caroline and I went blueberry picking with Wade. Amy, and Tatum! It was HOT, but we had fun!! We picked 7 lb! I love this pic of the girls working hard... and Sullivan in the background! :)

2. Gigi and Pappy came into town Thursday night and brought Cameron with them. It is fun having Caro together with Tatum and Cam! Can't wait to add a boy cousin for Cameron soon! :)

3. For 4th of July, we went swimming in the morning with all the kiddos! I hope Sullivan loves the water as much as Caroline. She is such a little fishy with NO fear!

4. Saturday, we had a great birthday party for our big 2 year old!! I can't believe it has been that long since I was writing these blog posts about my pregnancy with Caroline.

5. I am feeling bigger by the day! Here is a little bit of a belly picture.

6. It was so fun to see lots of family this weekend. Now we are looking forward to traveling to Auburn for Mammaw's wedding this coming weekend. This will be our last trip to Auburn without Sullivan... can't wait to take him too!!

7. I have a check up next Monday so we will see how everything is going! I think I will definitely gain more weight this time with Caroline's party and going out of town.

8. I LOVE a Chinese place in Auburn called Panda's so I am hoping to get some this weekend!

9. I can't believe we are in the single digit countdown until Sully's arrival... 9 WEEKS!!! WOO HOO!

10. My other cravings have been lots of sweets and candy recently.

30 Weeks

July 2

1. Before I get to pregnancy and Sullivan updates... Happy 2nd birthday, Caroline!! :) We had a fun family night just celebrating our girl! We took her to chick fil a for some ice dream (yearly tradition now because we went last year too)! 

2. Caroline had the sweetest VBS teachers (Kaitlyn, Jacque, Paige, and Hannah) who gave her a birthday balloon and big bouncy ball! They are the best! Caroline has looooves Miss Kaitlyn since she was still in one of the baby nursery rooms. I pray Sullivan will have a special connection with a nursery worker like that. It makes it so nice to have someone to drop her off to that she loves!

3. We have been doing lots of party planning this week! Caroline's party is this Saturday and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

4. I am so thankful my mom lives close to us! She came over Tuesday and helped me get EVERYTHING ready for the party! We cleaned, decorated, crafted, and just had so much fun! Caroline and Sullivan are so lucky to have grandparents (on both sides) who love them and invest so much in their lives (even before Sullivan is born). 

5. Blake's brother, Wade, and his family just got here for the week to stay until Caroline's party! We are so excited to have family visiting and staying with us!

6. Sullivan's bumper and curtains came in!! I can't wait to get his nursery all ready for him!

7. My feet and back have been hurting if I don't wear supportive shoes all day. It is kind of annoying (and hot) to have to wear tennis shoes in 90 degree weather. 

8. I have been having some Braxton hicks, I can usually tell it is when I need to drink or empty my bladder. No early labor or anything!

9. I cannot figure out how Sullivan is positioned. Some days he kicks on one side, then the other side the next day. I guess he is still just flipping and flopping!

10. Whenever I ask Caroline what her baby brother's name is, she says "Sully!!" in a really excited voice. It is so sweet!

29 Weeks

June 25

1. This week has been busy busy with VBS! Caroline has been worn out! Can't wait to take 2 kids to VBS next year!

2. I cannot believe that our baby girl is going to be TWO tomorrow (June 26)!! I am excited (and a little nervous) about starting over with the baby stage again with Sullivan.

3. I have been craving some cinnamon rolls so I got some this week! Yummy!

4. Although I am sooo excited about having a boy and blue everything... I do love girly things! I gave Caroline pigtails for the first time this week! :)

5. Sullivan is definitely getting stronger (and bigger) every week! Feeling him move and kick around is probably my favorite part of all of pregnancy. It is such an indescribable feeling!

6. I am so thankful to be working with sweet 3rd graders this week in VBS. I have 2 kids in my group who have already made decisions to accept Jesus! What an amazing thing to be a part of! It has really made me pray more and more for Caroline and Sullivan to know Jesus at a young age.

7. I am thankful to be feeling well so far! My stomach was a little upset a few days, but I feel great overall!

8. It is interesting to me that my skin had been more dry this pregnancy. It was a lot more oily with Caroline. I wonder if it has anything to do with different gender hormones.

9. I go for another check up next Monday and will go every 2 weeks until I am 36 weeks. I cannot believe how fast it has been going this pregnancy!

10. We moved Caroline to her new big girl room this past weekend so now I can get Sullivan's nursery ready!! Pictures with come when it gets done!

28 Weeks

June 18

1. I had a DELICIOUS Oreo peanut butter milkshake this week from Sonic... Half price milkshakes after 8pm are definitely going to be a summer favorite!

2. Caroline is going to be such a sweet big sister. She did this by herself this week... Guess she knows she is having a baby brother!

3. We had a fun play date with some of Caroline's friends this week. I can't wait to see who Sullivan will be friends with! I have one friend at church due the same month with a boy so it will be fun to see them grow up together!

4. Caroline has been a little more snuggly this week, I think because of teething. I have forgotten how teething is... And we are about to start it all over again!

5. This weekend was Father's Day. We celebrated by having lunch with my parents at Original Oyster House. It was so yummy! It was great to celebrate Blake and my Dad. Blake is such a fun, sweet, protective Daddy with Caroline. I can't wait to see him with Sullivan and how things will be different having a boy!

6. Caroline took a big tumble this week and has a pretty bruise on her forehead. I have a feeling we will have a lot more of these with Sullivan. Boys seem to get hurt more since they play so rough. He will have to be a tough guy!

7. I had my checkup on Monday and everything is looking good! I have gained 13 pounds and my belly is measuring one week behind (which is a good thing... Maybe Sully won't be quite as big as Caroline. Haha!). 

8. I have been having a few cravings this week. Watermelon was the main one which I have been enjoying since I got one at the store. It is so sweet and juicy. Yum!

9. I have also wanted sausage biscuits for some reason, so that was another grocery purchase this week. So random the things you crave. 

10. I am hoping to get Caroline moved to her big girl room in the next 2 weeks. Then I can start getting the nursery set for Sullivan! :)

27 Weeks

June 11

1. The past few weeks, I have noticed Sullivan getting the hiccups. It is so funny to feel my belly jump and realize how big he is getting!

2. I had my first experience of waking up with a Charlie horse in my leg in the middle of the night. It went away pretty quickly so hopefully that won't keep happening. 

3. With my first pregnancy, I had to take my wedding rings off because the skin underneath them would break out and then get really dry and peel. That happened again one day this week. I think it is when my hands get a little swollen and water gets stuck underneath it. My rings are back on now so we will see how long that lasts.

4. We are now less than THREE months away from my due date!! So much to do before this little guy can come!

5. This past weekend, we went to a wedding and Caroline was lighting up the dance floor. It is so funny to see how much she just naturally loves to dance. It will be fun to see how things are different with Sullivan and what boy things he will like. I know his Daddy can't wait for him to play sports!

6. We had a baby shower for a friend in my Sunday school class this past week who is expecting her 3rd baby. It was fun to see all the baby stuff. It made it a little more real that we will be adding a new baby to our family soon. 

7. Sullivan has gotten a lot stronger this past week. I have really started to notice him moving during the day more and even when I am being active. 

8. I get a weekly email update about what part of Sullivan is developing that specific week. This week, Sullivan weighs almost 2 pounds and he is sleeping and waking at regular intervals. He is always very awake and active around 10 when I am going to sleep.

9. I am looking forward to getting Caroline's big girl room ready in the next few weeks (hoping to have it ready by her birthday on the 26th). Then I can work on getting the nursery ready for our baby boy!!

10. This weekend is Father's Day! It will be Blake's last one as a daddy to just one kiddo! :)

26 Weeks

June 4

1. JUNE... It is already June?! Wow!! Only a little over 3 months until baby Sullivan is here! :)

2. We went to Huntsville and Nashville this weekend to meet our niece, Rylin. She is such a sweet baby! It was so crazy to hold a newborn again. I have forgotten how small they are! 

3. We attempted to get a picture of all the cousins... Much easier said than done with 4 kids under the age of 4. This is one of my favorites though! I know Cam will be excited to add a boy cousin to help even things out! Haha! 

4. I got to have one if my favorite things this weekend in Huntsville... A breakfast burrito from Shaggy's! I get it with half bacon and half sausage. It is so so yummy!! Sullivan liked it too! ;) It is making me hungry just thinking about it. 

5. Caroline wakes up early (6:30) whenever we are out of town... So Sullivan and I have been missing our chance to sleep in a little. 

6. I haven't really had any cravings recently. I still haven't had a chick fil a peach milkshake. I am making it a point to get one THIS week!

7. Not sure if I have said this or not, but my belly button is definitely poking out. It has been out for awhile, which is funny because it didn't come out until the very end with Caroline. 

8. Another symptom I haven't had this time that I did have before was the dark line on your belly. I don't know if it has to do with different hormones with this being a boy or if it just hasn't shown up yet. It stayed for awhile after Caroline was born too. 

9. My sleep has not been as restful recently. Not sure why, but I've been waking up more and it takes me awhile to go back to sleep too.

25 Weeks

May 28

1. It has been HOT here!! I have been trying to stay inside during the middle part of the day but it has just been super hot all day here. 

2. Our friends Jeremy and Marianne were in town this weekend for Memorial Day. We had a great time with them and their daughter Leah Kate. Caroline got some big sister training in with having a baby here. It was fun to think about how things will be in a few months having TWO kiddos! (Yes, we are accidentally matching in this picture. Haha!)

3. We went to the beach on Saturday and it was so fun! Caroline has been scared of the waves until this trip. She LOVED the water!! Blake took her out and she kept saying "down" like she just wanted to go swimming. Haha! Major swim lessons to come in the future... I hope Sullivan likes the beach too since we live so close. I'm sure that will be a family favorite for years to come!

4. Since it has been so hot here, we set Caroline's pool up in the yard. She couldn't wait for me to fill it up, so she first jumped in it with her clothes on. Haha! She loves going down her slide into the pool too. 

5. Sullivan has been making me very hungry recently... I have a feeling I will be gaining a little more weight this month. Haha! Luckily (or thankfully) we don't have a scale at home so I don't know what I weigh until I go to the doctor.

6. The weeks are flying by right now! It is so crazy to think I only have 15 more weeks. Less than 4 months! I have a lot to accomplish befor this little guy can make his entrance.

7. I am looking forward to going to Huntsville and Nashville this coming weekend! We get to meet our niece Rylin who was born on May 12! Now I have 2 sisters in law who have 2 kids, so they can give me all their expert advice on being a mom of 2!

8. Making trips to Huntsville will be very different the next time we go with Caroline and Sullivan. It is about a 6 hour drive... So we will probably have to stop a lot more often with baby Sullivan!

9. Caroline and I went to Mobile just for one night this week while Daddy was out of town. I got to work on Caroline's birthday party with Janny! We had fun making invitations, fans (since it is going to be outside), and some other things. I can't wait to see how it all comes together. Mom is a great party planner so it is so fun to have her help me!

10. I am so excited to be having a boy! I don't know if I have said that much, but I just can't wait! I know several other girls having babies in or around September and they are all boys! Can't wait to see them all grow up together!
