24 Weeks

May 21

1. I had my doctor's appointment on Monday. Everything went well! Praising a God for uneventful check ups! 

2. I have gained 9 lb so far, which is about the same as my first pregnancy... But my belly sure has popped out sooner this time!

3. I scheduled my glucose test for 3 weeks from now so hopefully that will go well!

4. Caroline is ALL girl and loves playing dress up now. I can already see her trying to put a now on baby brother Sullivan! Haha!

5. Mr. Sullivan is definitely getting more active these days. I don't think he is as active as Caroline, but his kicks are getting stronger now. 

6. I have been craving more salty things recently like chips. I don't usually care for chips, but pregnancy does crazy things to ya. 

7. Sleep has been pretty good... Sometimes not even waking up once!

8. My back is still hurting some, so I have been trying not to pick Caroline up much (a lot harder than it sounds... Haha!) and that seems to be helping. 

9. BIG milestone this week.... VIABILITY!! A lot of people don't even know what that is, but it basically means that Sulllivan "could" survive if he was born now. It would still be a miracle, but it could be done. Praying he stays in for a LOT longer! 

10. I am looking forward to having friends stay with us this weekend! They have a 6 month old so it will be fun to see Caroline around a younger baby too!

23 Weeks

May 14

1. I went to a consignment sale and bought a cute little baseball hat for Sullivan! Can't wait to see it on him!

2. We added a new niece (and cousin for Caroline and Sullivan) to the family on Monday, May 12!! Rylin Elaine looks sooo precious in all her pictures and I can't wait to meet her in a few weeks! (I made their shirts and think they look adorable!)

3. I had a great Mother's Day weekend. Blake treated me to some Milton Bakery doughnuts on Sunday morning. They were delicious! Excited to be a family of 4 next year for Mother's Day. 

4. I have been craving a peach milkshake from Chick-Fil-A. Hopefully I will get one in the next few weeks. 

5. I have also been wanting some watermelon!

6. My next check up for Sullivan is Monday so we will see how everything is going!

7. I have been having some back pain recently. I think I may have strained a muscle on the right side so I am trying to take it easy. 

8. I am making dresses to sell like Caroline's Easter dress. I am also going to try making some little boy's shorts. I have to learn lots of new things having a boy now!

9. Oranges have been another craving this week... At least I am craving healthier things these days. Haha!

10. I am looking forward to Memorial Day weekend in a couple weeks. Our friends from Auburn, Jeremy and Marianne and their little girl Leah Kate, are coming to stay with us! :)

22 Weeks

May 7

1. Blake and I enjoyed a great weekend celebrating our 5 year anniversary, a couple months early, in Seagrove. We stayed in the cutest carriage house and had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beach!

2. Caroline spent the weekend in Mobile with Janny and Colonel and had fun being spoiled! ;) I know they are excited to have another grandson soon to add to their grand kids!

3. I am excited about having Sullivan and some of the things that come along with a newborn... Like the fact that they can't move from their bed. Haha! Caroline figured out that she could climb out of her pack and play this weekend, so she slept on a blanket pallet at Janny's. When we got home, she climbed out of her crib too so she is sleeping in a twin bed now like a big girl!

4. Things are starting to happen that I wanted to get done before Sullivan's arrival. Caroline being out of the crib was a huge step. She will be changing rooms also before baby boy comes so we are one step closer to that!

5. I love feeling little man move around! It is such a special feeling to have little kicks and punches throughout the day. 

6. Only 2 more weeks until viability! 24 weeks always gives me a little reassurance and comfort to hit that milestone. 

7. I almost forgot... When we were in Seaside, we ran into one of my college roommates, Shealy. It was so fun to catch up and see her!

8. I have been feeling good lately... Not too tired, not feeling big YET, etc.

9. I have been loving pizza this pregnancy. We went to Bud and Alley's a Pizza Bar in Seaside and I had some amazing prosciutto pizza! It was so yummy!

10. I am starting to look at nursery stuff and trying to decide what I want. I feel like I was so much more prepared about these kind of things with Caroline. But we will get it done before September! :)

21 Weeks

April 30

1. This week is the first time multiple strangers have noticed I was pregnant. At church during the welcome time, a lady shook my hand and then saw my belly and said "Oh wow! When are you due?" Haha!

2. I haven't really been craving anything this week. Most food just doesn't sound good right now for some reason. Hoping that will change soon. 

3. We have had some crazy weather this week. We had tornado warnings, crazy lightening, and lots of flooding. We are very thankful that our house had no damage. Here is Caroline in our "safe place"!

4. Because it has been so rainy and dreary, Caroline and I (and Sullivan) have enjoyed having some movie days. We watched "The Little Mermaid" and "Cinderella"!

5. I am looking forward to spending the weekend at the beach with Blake. We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary early! Thanks in advance to Janny and Colonel for keeping Caroline!

6. This weekend is kind of a "baby moon" too because I know it will be so different traveling with 2 kiddos soon! Wow! That sounds crazy! 

7. I have started to feel a couple Braxton Hicks contractions... It's ok and normal at the stage. I think I am feeling them earlier than with Caroline but probably just because I know what they are now. 

8. Our niece, Rylin, is due in just a few weeks. I cannot wait for her to be here and go meet her! She and Sullivan will be about 4 months apart... So fun to have close cousins!

9. We had a birthday party this weekend for a friend's son's 1st birthday. They had a sno-cone truck come for dessert and Sullivan liked it! He was kicking like crazy after that sugar rush! Haha! 

10. I forgot to mention last week that I had gained 8lb at my appointment. Right on track with how much I gained with my 1st pregnancy. 

20 Weeks... IT'S A BOY!!

April 23

1. Well... We found out that we are expecting a BOY this week! Monday, we had our ultrasound bright and early at 7:30. The ultrasound tech looked at a few things and then asked if we wanted to know the gender if she could see. Of course we did!! She found out pretty quickly and said... "Well, it's a boy!" I couldn't believe it! I was hoping for a boy but assumed a girl because my pregnancy was similar to Caroline's. We are thrilled to be adding a boy to our fam!

2. We also have a name for little man... Sullivan James! Sullivan is just something we like and James is after my Dad! :)

3. I bought Sullivan's first outfit the day we found out too. Here it is!

4. We had a great Easter weekend with my family. We found out that my Aunt Cindy is also expecting and due in November... They were definitely surprised but it is a fun surprise for our babies to be so close!

5. My best friend since 6th grade, Laura, and her husband Brett came over from Mobile and had dinner with us on Saturday. We had a great time hanging out and catching up with them. I just wish we lived closer to them and could hang out more often!

6. I haven't had too many cravings. I did have some Whataburger this week, which I didn't care too much for before this pregnancy.

7. I also splurged at the grocery store and got Oreos! Definitely a classic favorite! :)

8. It has been so much fun telling everyone we are having a boy! And I especially like being able to call him by name... It makes it so much more real to know the gender.

9. I am feeling Sullivan move more and more! I notice him moving most about 9 or 10 at night.

10. I cannot believe I am already halfway done with this pregnancy. I am ready to meet little Sullivan, but I definitely want to enjoy the next few months of just being a family of 3 with Caroline!

19 Weeks

April 16

1. We had an Easter egg hunt with our Sunday school class this weekend. Big sister is not too into hunting eggs... she just likes to eat the candy right now. Haha! Next year we will have 2 kiddos at Easter!

2. I finally satisfied my craving of FISH TACOS!! They were awesome! :)

3. I have been sleeping well... I usually get up around 2 or 3 am and sleep good the rest of the night.

4. Less than ONE week until we find out the gender... hmm- pink or blue!? I can't wait to know!

5. I have been really loving watermelon recently. I haven't bought one, but I had some at our Sunday school picnic and it was DELICIOUS!

6. We talked about car seat safety in our Young Mom's Bible study this week and it was so crazy to think I will have TWO car seats soon. Realizing things like this definitely makes it more real that I am going to be a mommy to two little ones!

7. My belly button is already partly out. I can notice it if I have a tighter-fitting shirt on. It didn't come out until the very end with Caroline... Haha!

8. We don't have a scale at home, so I have no idea how much weight I have gained. I will be interested to see how much next week at my appointment.

9. I am looking forward to being able to plan more starting next week after we find out the gender!

10. I'm not really having any weird symptoms or anything... just anxious to find out if this is a boy or girl!!!! Haha! :)

18 Weeks

April 9

1. We made a quick trip to Atlanta this weekend to celebrate our niece, Mattingly, for her 2nd birthday! This was the best family photo we could get... It is hard to get 3 kids happy for a photo. Haha! Can't wait to add Baby T to make it FOUR kids!

2. My biggest craving this week was for a hamburger so I had Whataburger one day for lunch and it was soooo yummy! It is making me hungry thinking about it now. Haha!

3. Big sister Caroline is quite a monkey these days with her climbing! It will be so fun to see how Baby T's personality is similar or different from big sis!

4. I am making a dress for Caroline for Easter. I will have to make a matching one for the fall for baby girl or a matching jon-jon if it's a boy! It is blue seersucker... I will share a picture after Easter! :)

5. I have been DIEING to find out the gender of this little one!!! I did the old wives' tale "ring on a string" test and it said boy. Haha! We will find out on the 21st... less than 2 weeks away now! Woo hoo!!

6. I am starting to wear some maternity clothes now. My shorts have gotten a little too tight to be comfortable when I sit down now, so on to the maternity wardrobe.

7. BIG NEWS this week.... I felt the first little flutters!!! :) It is so different this pregnancy, because I didn't feel Caroline move until after we found out she was a girl. So now when little one moves, I just say "the baby is moving!" I am so ready to be able to say a name instead of just "baby"... haha!

8. I love looking back and comparing how I felt with my pregnancy with Caroline to this time. I was barely starting to show at this point with C and I feel like I am definitely showing this pregnancy. Haha! I guess that's the changes a 2nd pregnancy brings.

9. I am STILL craving fish tacos... We may go to Cactus Flower this weekend and get some! :)

10. I have been sleeping pretty well. Waking up once to use the restroom and usually another time just to turn over. I really think God gets you ready for waking up in the middle of the night for feeding by waking you up during your pregnancy. It is kind of neat to see that!
